Au printemps, qu’est-ce que tu fais?

The weather’s warming up, the birds are singing, and the flowers are blooming.

Oui, le printemps est arrivé!

Au Printemps Slideshare and FREE French Printables: with a SPRING theme!

Au Printemps: Slideshare

In case you haven’t heard of Slideshare before, think of it as the YouTube for slide presentations.

And just like YouTube, you don’t need to sign up to watch anything.

This new Slideshare is actually an easy reader about spring activities, such as flying kites and riding a bicycle.

You can project this onto a board and read it aloud for your students to follow along.

You might even display it on a laptop or tablet and use it for guided reading.

The images are bright and the illustrations support the comprehension of the text.

French Spring Resources: spring-themed resources for your French classroom!

Au Printemps: FREE Printables

The file I’m sharing with you today includes two activities that are related to the Slideshare above, but can be used independently from it.

The first activity is a concentration game with images and expressions. Some call it a memory game.

Au Printemps Slideshare and FREE Printables: concentration game cards with a spring theme! Memory game :)

I’ve included color and B&W versions. I personally love printing the B&W version on colorful card stock because it’s ink-friendly, but it still looks great!

The second activity is an interactive vocabulary match.

If you’ve been following for a while, you already know this activity. It works the same as the Valentine’s Day vocabulary match freebie.

Students cut, color, and paste the foldable flaps on their notebooks or lapbooks. Then, they paste the correct expression under the flap.

By interacting with the flaps, kids memorize the new vocabulary faster and can retrieve words more easily because of the tactile association they develop.

To receive the FREE file with these two activities, all you have to do is enter your name and email address below (even if you’re already a newsletter subscriber).

You will receive a confirmation message and a link to download the file. That’s it!

Hope your students enjoy the activities.

Thank you for stopping by!

Lucy 🙂
