French Emergent Readers: Verbs

There are six printable books that focus on French sight words that are verbs.

They are all included in the French Emergent Reader Bundle.

French Emergent Readers: Verbs

French Emergent Reader: Verbs. Kids will be working with the focus sight word (the verb "je SUIS"). It's also a fun review of animal names.

One of the most common and useful verbs students need to learn is the verb “être”.

This printable reader focuses on “suis” by featuring different animals saying: “Je suis un/une (animal name).”

The animal changes on each page and there are illustrations to help students decode the animal name in case they don’t know the word.

Kids will be working with the focus word in different ways, like tracing, and coloring.

Lots of fun and lots of practice!

The focus word is the verb “vais”, and they’ll also be learning or reviewing vocabulary of places in the city, e.g. “cinéma”, “parc”, etc.

The illustrations and the pointing arrow help kids understand the context of the sentences.
